Dr. Tetsuzan Benny Ron

Responsibilities:

Oversee the open access review process, the use and training of review management software, and the interaction with the copy editing and typesetting team. Dr. Ron oversees all the interrelations and integration of the journals, such as working with Scholastica, CrossRef, the University of Hawaii Library eVos archiving team, Portico, DOAJ, and PMC. Monitor Editorial Board Members (timelines, review quality and tone). Also, Dr. Ron is in charge of blogs, advertising, and assisting with the articles’ promotion, discoverability, and archiving. Dr. Ron also oversees the graphic design, hiring, and budget. Dr. Ron also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the IJA and Managing Editor of the CHI and JIVFww.

Professor Mohamad MOHTY, MD, PhD

Chief Medical Research Director

Responsibilities:

Professor Mohty oversees the quality of the review processes and helps define the direction of the medical journals. The medical director guides editors and reviewers to meet specific goals, establishes initiatives, and creates strategies that help our medical journals meet particular objectives. He also acts as a liaison between editors and other executives or administrators.

Prior experience in scientific publishing:

Editor-in-Chief of the journals Bone Marrow Transplantation (since 2013) and Clinical Hematology International (since 2019), an Associate Editor for Leukemia (since 2007), European Journal of Haematology and Blood Cancer Journal (more than ten years), and a member of the editorial board of Haematologica (more than ten years) and Blood (since 2021). Professor Mohty has published over 1000 peer-reviewed articles in stem cell transplantation, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma in different hematology and immunology journals. His H-Index is 97. He has also delivered over 700 invited lectures in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Membership in professional associations:

International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH). past-president of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT; www.ebmt.org ; over 5000 members from over 600 centers in over 50 countries), and the past chairman of the Acute Leukemia Working Party of EBMT. He is also the founder and current chairman of the “International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH). He also serves on the “Intergroupe Francophone du Myeloma” (IFM) board. Professor Zeev SHOHAM, MD, PhD

Chief Human Fertility Research Director of the SAABRON PRESS Management Team

Responsibilities:

Professor Shoam oversees the quality of the review processes and helps define the direction of the Journal of IVF-Worldwide (JIVFww). As the Chief Human Fertility Research Director, Professor Shoham guides editors and reviewers to meet specific goals, establishes initiatives, and creates strategies that help the JIVFww meet particular objectives. He also acts as a liaison between editors and other executives or administrators. Professor Shoham’s medical experience includes overseeing the Fertility and IVF Unit at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, Israel. He specialized in a wide range of treatments, including fertility treatments, in vitro fertilization, oocyte retrieval, preservation and freezing, donor eggs and sperm, care for women during pregnancy, and follow-up and treatment of postmenopausal women. Additionally, he guided his team in implementing innovative strategies and techniques to provide optimal care and achieve successful outcomes in reproductive medicine.

Prior experience in scientific publishing:

Professor Shoham has published over 140 papers in the field of Reproductive Medicine, many of which have won international awards. His contributions to medical literature include chapters in numerous books, as well as being the editor/author of the textbook Female Infertility Therapy: Current Practice (1999) and one of four editors of the textbook Assisted Reproductive Techniques, now in its fourth edition. He also co-founded IVF-Worldwide, the most comprehensive website on in-vitro fertilization.

Professor Shoham has been organizing international medical conferences for over 18 years and is a frequent lecturer in the field of Reproductive Medicine. In 1991, he received an award from the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology for the best scientific research in Europe for his work on stimulating sperm production by adding GH to treatment with gonadotropins in patients with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.

Dr. Shiri Hofstetter

Responsibilities:

The CPO provides primary strategic and operational leadership of SAABRON PRESS publications. Dr. Hofstetter is responsible for ensuring the excellence, relevance, and integrity of the journals’ scientific content, enhancing the reach and reputation of SAABRON PRESS publications, providing the global scientific community attractive and competitive options for disseminating their research, and delivering a thriving publishing portfolio.

Prior experience in scientific publishing:

Dr. Hofstetter, a neurobiologist (Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science), has been Vikki’s scientific editor while creating and disseminating scientific content and working to build bidirectional connections between academia and relevant stakeholders.

Dr. Hofstetter served as the Academic Consultant for the Weizmann Institute of Science, overseeing decoding real-time neuronal activity from genetically defined populations in the brain using fiber photometry, Optogenetics, data analysis, behavioral paradigms

As a Senior Scientist at the biotech company Genetica+, Dr. Hofstetter was responsible for the Research and Development project for neuronal cellular and molecular biomarkers for improving patient outcomes, high-resolution microscopy, automated image analysis, stem cell research, and mental health.

Dr. Amit Sinha

Responsibilities:

Dr. Sinha plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of the review processes for the Israeli Journal of Aquaculture (IJA), where he serves as the Associate Editor. In this capacity, he meticulously guides both authors and reviewers in adhering to the journal’s rigorous publication guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in submissions. Dr. Sinha is also instrumental in establishing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the journal’s global visibility, reputation, and scholarly impact. By developing and implementing targeted strategies, he helps the IJA achieve its specific objectives, such as improving review timelines, increasing the quality of published research, and expanding its readership.

Prior experience in scientific publishing:

Dr. Sinha holds a position as an Associate Professor at University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, USA (Ph.D. from the University of Antwerpen, Belgium). His research is focused on aquatic toxicology, environmental science, aquaculture, physiology, nutrition and genomics of aquatic animals. Dr. Sinha has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, with an h-index of 36. His articles have already received over 6000 citations. Dr. Sinha serves as a reviewer for more than 60 peer-reviewed journals and is an editorial board member for 9 journals.
He also serves as a panelist for several state, national, and international funding agencies, including USDA NIFA, NFP, USGS, NIFA AFRI, SBIR, NOAA, BoRSF, and NSF.
Owing to his high-quality research, creative activities, and grant funding, Dr. Sinha received the ‘Distinguished Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity’ Award in 2019 and 2023. Dr. Sinha has been honored with prestigious recognition, being ranked among the “Top 2% of Scientists Globally” in 2024 (announced by Stanford University/Elsevier). This esteemed recognition is a reflection of his exceptional contributions to the scientific community, built on decades of rigorous research, innovation, and dedication to advancing knowledge in his field.

Mr. Dan Mires

The director guides editors and reviewers to meet specific goals, establishes initiatives, and creates strategies that help our aquaculture journal meet particular objectives. He also acts as a liaison between editors and other executives or administrators.

Prior experience in scientific publishing:

Mr. Mires, who served as an Editor-in-Chief of the Israeli Journal of Aquaculture – Bamidgeh (IJA) for twenty years, is the former director of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Adi Ron

Media and Graphics Director

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and supporting a team of graphic designers and videographers to bring concepts, presentations, and prototypes to life. Collaborate on the ideation and development of innovative marketing campaigns. Participate in executing the entire creative process within an allotted time frame and budget.

For over twenty years, Adi Ron has produced graphic design and videos for numerous medical and other scientific conferences and publications, such as ART, CODi, CoGEN, COMy, COLYM, COSTEM, EBMT, ESH, FIE, FRMC, GBAC, IACH, ICTC, IARGI, IBC, IMBC, IRM2030TIVF, ISFP, IVFww, MedFemTech, and Ovarian Club.
